Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (ABD applicants accepted; PhD Confirm required by hired date)
California Speech-Language Pathology License (or eligibility to obtain)
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
A minimum of three years of clinical experience in the candidate's area of expertise
Planned or active research program in autism and/or bilingual and bicultural practices in SLP
Demonstrated evidence of teaching excellence in face to face, hybrid and/or online instruction at the university level for candidates with service credit or hired at the rank of Associate Professor
Ability to teach courses in autism and bilingual and bicultural practice
Interest in developing a bilingual certificate option for SLP students
Interest in supervising master's culminating experiences (e.g., theses, projects)
Demonstrated ability and potential for professional growth and progressive leadership within the department; if hired as an Associate Professor the individual will be expected to immediately hold a leadership role(s) within the department
If Associate, demonstrated experience with accreditation
Ability to professionally communicate and collaborate with colleagues in the department, college, and across campus
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual English-Spanish speaker
Evidence of research productivity
Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
A research focus that can take advantage of our emerging technologies, interdisciplinary collaborations, and community partners
Demonstrated intercultural competence with diverse groups in teaching, research and/or service

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $7,125- $8,646 per month
CSU Classification Salary Range: $6,221- $13,224 per month
